IMPORTANT!! LAST YEARS WORK FROM 2.7

Some 2nd year students have been asking about work they had stored on the Macs in 2.7 last year.

This is currently stored on the shared area:

smb://srvdata/SharedWork/MusicTech/ 

The folder called "!!! SCRATCH BACKUP 2.7" has all information from last year.

IT really need the space on the server so you have until the 3rd of December to copy your work. After that this folder and any files in it will be deleted.

It is your responsibility to backup your work and it is good working practice to always backup all of your work. All computers and hard drives are prone to fault and failure so you need to have a backup strategy, the easiest way is to use an external drive. If you have ant questions regarding this speak to either your tutor or myself.

!! ALL OF LAST YEARS WORK DONE ON THE MACS IN 2.7 WILL BE DELETED FROM THE SERVER ON 3rd DECEMBER 2013 !!
