Here is a checklist of content for your Subtractive Synthesis write up
- Explain the different elements that make up a subtractive synth - e.g VCO (Oscillators), VCF (Filter) including an explanation of how these elements combine to create a sound
- Explain the harmonic content of the different waveforms, including some information on how the different harmonic content changes the sound
- Include some audio examples of each waveform - just a short audio sample of each
- Explain two of the additional types of synthesis from the four listed - FM, Physical Modelling, Wavetable and Additive, giving information on how they are different to subtractive synthesis.
- Add in a software and hardware example for each type of synth
