Please prepare a session that will be run in your pair, and observed by the rest of the group. You will need to plan a short recording session, which can be a starting point for your portfolio, or just an interesting session to recap on recording techniques already covered. You should plan to make a short recording of one instrument that makes use of more advanced recording techniques that you have researched.

Your session should run for between 60 and 90 minutes, and you will also need to explain the process to the group as you work. You may prepare handouts or introduce the session with video or audio to show what you are trying to achieve. Make sure you factor in enough time to set up and pack down, and also ensure you find performers who can be your guinea pig.

This will give you the opportunity to refresh your studio knowledge, and also receive some feedback from your peers and tutor on your recording knowledge.

The sessions will run until the end of this half term.
