Task 3 – working as a group I would like you to draft two basic contracts for the following scenarios:-
Scenario 1 – You are a club owner who would
like to use the services of a freelance sound engineer to provide technical
support, set up, and front of house mixing duties for a touring band. The fee
agreed is £150 for the night, and the touring band have advised they will be
arriving at the venue at 4pm.
Scenario 2 – You have arranged to create
some recordings for a local band in your home studio. The price agreed for
recording 4 tracks is £250.
You will need to try and think of every
eventuality when creating the contract to make sure you have protected yourself
adequately from the most common eventualities.
Please ensure each member of your group
posts a copy of each contract on their blog.
